The PCOS Pathway

The PCOS Pathway helps newly diagnosed women banish acne, stabilise irregular cycles, reduce anxiety-inducing excess hair and FINALLY shed those KGs (without ANOTHER disappointing specialist appointment or Metformin script) so they can stop feeling like a crazy hormonal mess and strut into their new fit and healthy lifestyle as their most confident self.

Does this sound familiar?

You have received a PCOS diagnosis but you weren’t really provided much additional information. Maybe you were offered a “solution” like Metformin or the pill and not a whole lot else? Do either of those options really work in the long term anyway?
Perhaps you know there must be another way, a better way. But have you noticed that when you try to Google search your way to PCOS freedom you are met with so much information it’s utterly overwhelming, and often contradicting.

PCOS symptoms like irregular periods, facial hair growth, weight changes, low energy and acne aren’t just physical inconveniences, they can lead to feelings of insecurity, isolation and anxiety.

The PCOS Pathway

      No band-aid solutions here.

You don’t need to do “all the things”, you just need to implement the right things.

Let me introduce you to the PCOS Pathway…
The PCOS Pathway is for women who have been diagnosed with PCOS – who want to find out the root cause of their PCOS and fix the nutritional and lifestyle factors driving their PCOS…The benefits include:

Using blood testing to identify what systems in your body are not working properly, and are therefore driving your PCOS is the most effective way to manage and heal your PCOS long-term.

How it works…

02

03

Identify

Before we can get started with the strategy, we need to work out what systems in your body are not working properly and contributing to the hormonal imbalance causing PCOS symptoms.

Work out your root cause

01

Test

Once we have identified what system isn’t working properly we need to organise accurate blood testing to ensure we are able to implement the most appropriate nutrition, lifestyle and supplement strategies.

Organise testing for a targeted approach

02

Implement

From here we implement the changes YOU need in order to have the system work properly, resulting in management of remission of your PCOS. And most importantly, we re-assess (because you can’t improve what you don’t measure!) And that’s the simple 3-part framework the PCOS Pathway is built on.

Implement change, maintain & re-assess

A few common hesitations, you may be having that I’d like to nip in the bud right here!
The program doesn’t include one-on-one consultations, but that doesn’t hinder the outcomes. The consistent feedback from previous clients is – how amazing it is to have the support from a community of women going through the same issues and healing journey.

If you’re like many of my clients you are time poor and you have commitments. And I’m on board with you, it’s hard to find an extra couple of hours each week when your schedule is already chocka’s. Forgive me for putting this so bluntly but if nothing changes, nothing changes.

Where do you want your health to be 3, 6 or 12 months from now? How do you want to feel?

But Solaine, I don’t know if I’m ready for this?

It’s not a matter of readiness, it’s a matter of commitment. How committed are you to changing your habits and doing things differently? The truth is you’ll never feel “ready”, but as long as you are committed to your goals, feeling ready is irrelevant.

One of the most common questions I get asked about this program is whether it includes one-on-one consultation time with me…
I learnt so much valuable information about what is driving my PCOS as well as manageable actions I can take in my daily life to effectively manage my symptoms. The program has given me a sense of empowerment in that I have control over my symptoms, which is invaluable to me.
Solaine empowered me with the confidence to tackle my PCOS and have knowledge behind it. I have implemented changes consistently for 3 weeks and can notice a shift in my symptoms already.
This program has demystified PCOS and broken it down into practical steps that we can implement in our daily lives to feel like we are making change for the better. Having a community of women in similar circumstances and access to Solaine in a small group setting has helped individualise the treatment programs whilst maintaining cost effectiveness.
Throughout the last 6 weeks, I've enjoyed connecting with other women that are going through similar challenges like myself, it felt nice to feel like I wasn't alone feeling the way I have been, Solaine really has created a little community for women suffering with PCOS and for that I am grateful. Knowledge really is power, and I feel powerful moving forward.
The PCOS Pathway was my first experience interacting with other gals dealing with similar health issues as me. It was refreshing to know I am not alone. The blood work tracker is such a cool tool to help me monitor my health long-term. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to take their health into their own hands. Solaine is so knowledgeable and actually takes the time to answer everyone’s questions and address all concerns.

You might be thinking – “this sounds good, but I’m not sure if it’s right for me?”

If you have been diagnosed with PCOS, then yes, this is right for you.

This program has been specifically designed for women with PCOS.

Is it right for me?

If you’re unsure if it’s suitable for you because you have additional health conditions like non-alcoholic fatty liver, cholesterol issues, thyroid issues – then may I let you in on a little secret? Everything in your body is inter-connected. There are no “seperate issues”.

Through the Q & A calls Solaine will help you to un-pack the key “dominos” of your symptom picture. In working on the primary, or highest level issues it’s likely you’ll see all your health issues improve at the same time.

The PCOS Pathway

About Me

I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly, in case we haven't met yet.

My name is Solaine, the formal things are that I'm a degree qualified clinical Nutritionist and I am currently finishing a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. Just a fancy way of saying I studied for a long time to do what I do, and I work with clients virtually to help with women's reproductive issues including PCOS.

Like many teens I went on the oral contraceptive very young, and when I finally decided to stop taking it my period never came back. I put this problem in the "future Solaine's" issues pile and continued on with life for two years, when finally I decided enough was enough.

Similar to many of the clients I went to see a women's health GP, who ran some bloods, sent me for an internal ultrasound and then...wait for it...said..."your results are fine, the best thing to do is go back on the pill until you want kids."

I'm grateful to the 19 year old me for being wise enough to say - “thanks, but no thanks”.

This advice just didn't make sense to me. How could the solution to my absent period be the pill? What was wrong with my body?

As cliche as it is, this was my "catalyst" event for doing what I do Today. I recognised a gap in women's health care.
I knew that there were other women who would take that advice, go back on the pill and then most likely be in the exact same situation 10 years on, only now incredibly stressed because they want a family, STAT.

I see many women in clinic with PCOS, I speak with women nearly daily with PCOS and from what I hear most of what they are being offered is Metformin or the pill and frankly neither of these options "fix" anything long-term. They are band-aids at best.

The world of Google-ing "PCOS diet" or "foods to eat for PCOS" or "supplements to take for PCOS" gets overwhelming fast. And, the thing these blogs and blanket recommendations are not taking into account is your unique "type" of PCOS.

You could have PCOS + a thyroid condition or PCOS + insulin resistance, these require very different things. This is why generic approaches don't work.

As a nutritionist my role is to help you identify what is driving your PCOS, and ultimately put together an evidence based plan to address those driving factors. This approach is a lot less "throw spaghetti a wall and see what sticks", and a lot more data, implementing strategic action and results.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book 1:1 consultations with Solaine?

Can I book 1:1 consultations with Solaine?

There is an option to upgrade and add two additional 1:1 consultations with Solaine, in which you will be able to personalise your goals even more. The PCOS Pathway doesn’t include 1:1 consultations with Solaine, but you will have access to her in the Facebook group and Q & A calls.

WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND ONE OF THE Q & A CALLS?

WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND ONE OF THE Q & A CALLS?

Each week you are able to submit your questions for the call. If you can’t attend, simply submit your question and Solaine will answer it during the call and the recording will be uploaded to the online portal for you to watch.

IS THIS SUITABLE IF I AM DOING FERTILITY TREATMENTS OR IVF?

IS THIS SUITABLE IF I AM DOING FERTILITY TREATMENTS OR IVF?

Absolutely! The Q & A calls still allow for further personalisation. If you feel that you need additional support you may like to consider adding on additional 1:1 consultations. With all due respect there is a lot that can be changed from a nutritional and lifestyle perspective to optimise fertility outcomes in IVF that women are not told about – you’ll get what you need from this program to make those changes.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START AND FINISH?

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START AND FINISH?

The program official kicks off Monday 7th November 2022 and finishes Friday 16th December 2022. You do have on-going access to the program content and Facebook group for 12 months.

I DON’T HAVE A LOT OF TIME, HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE ME EACH WEEK?

I DON’T HAVE A LOT OF TIME, HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE ME EACH WEEK?

We totally understand your time is precious, but we also encourage you to carve out the time needed to achieve your goals. How much would healing your PCOS improve your life? Aim to allocate 1-3 hours per week.

IS THIS STILL SUITABLE IF I AM ON THE ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE OR METFORMIN?

IS THIS STILL SUITABLE IF I AM ON THE ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE OR METFORMIN?

Yes! Whilst the program is offering you arguably better options, if you are taking either of these medications right now that’s no problem.

I HAVEN’T FORMERLY BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH PCOS, WILL THIS STILL HELP ME?

I HAVEN’T FORMERLY BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH PCOS, WILL THIS STILL HELP ME?

It is a pre-requisite of joining that you have been diagnosed with PCOS. As a Nutritionist it is outside my scope of practice to diagnose any health conditions. If you currently have hormonal symptoms, but you aren’t sure it’s PCOS you may like to consider working with us 1:1.

DO I NEED TO HAVE ANY TESTING DONE PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM STARTING?

DO I NEED TO HAVE ANY TESTING DONE PRIOR TO THE PROGRAM STARTING?

No! We cover everything in week 1. There’s nothing you need to have done prior to starting.

What would it feel like in 3, 6 or 12 months time for you to know when your period is arriving, have clear glowing skin, feel confident in your body and your fertility?

You know what actions to take on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to take care of your PCOS. You know with crystal clear clarity how to manage your hormones, and what to do if things do go off track.

This is all possible with The PCOS Pathway.

The truth is your PCOS isn’t a life sentence. It doesn’t have to be something you battle with for the rest of your reproductive years.
