Stress. Burnout. Two very common things we hear a lot about, and know negatively affect our health and hormones. In this episode I’m sharing my personal experience with burnout this year, after having my son in September 2022 and jumping back into a business that was not a match for my new phase of life. This year I’ve struggled with at times crippling anxiety, aura migraines with vomiting, crying at nothing until I made the counterintuitive decision to work even harder but this time, in service of reducing the stress and burnout long-term. My hope and goal in sharing this is that this might inspire someone to radically redirect something in their life in service of a calm nervous system!
There’s a lot of talk online about stress and burnout management. But, what if the real answer for burnout is acknowledging that we have one short sweet life and we need to sometimes make radical redirections to remove the very thing causing the stress and burnout.
